Inkeri Harri's most defining characteristic is ambiguity. Behind the tinted windows of appearances awaits a treacherous grin, as an animal lurking in the shadows. Harri exploits certain aspects of post-modern iconography in order to reveal their hidden side, where a formidable dreadfulness stands alongside a non less formidable, albeit at the first glance well dissimulated sense of humor. Her artworks reveal a world of hidden meanings, for the one who watches them long enough to perceive them.
